Guacamole

  • 1 large avocado
  • ¼ cup grated (or finely chopped) onions
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • Salt to taste

Puree all ingredients in blender and mash avocado with a fork and mix in other ingredients.  Chill.  Serve with fresh raw vegetables.  |  More Snacks »

Power Smoothie

  • 1 cup rice or almond milk
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 1/3 cup pineapple
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 Tbsp flaxseed oil
  • 20 grams of rice protein or pea protein

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed until liquefied. This recipe acts as a tasty source of protein (tofu), anti-oxidants, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.  |  More Breakfasts »
