Happy Apple Breakfast

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 medium green or golden apple (chopped)
  • ¼ cup raw pumpkin or sunflower seeds
  • 2 Tbsp organic flaxseed oil, or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp raw honey, or to taste

Combine all the ingredients except the flaxseed oil and honey and simmer for 10 minutes.  Turn off the heat, cover, and let steam for 5 minutes.  Stir in the flaxseed oil and honey.  Top with nonfat yogurt if desired.
