Vaishally Thaker B ost Med, OMT
Vaishally was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario. She was an avid gymnast in her early youth where she found her fascination of the human body during this time. She studied at Canadian Therapeutic College as a sports injury therapist. She furthered her career by studying at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in the UK where she received an honorary degree from the University of Westminister. Her training involved manipulation, visceral (internal organs), cranial sacral (skull and pelvis), pediatric, chronic disease as well as autoimmune disorders, to name a few. She also received a diploma in naturopathy.
Osteopathy is the study of the interrelationship between stucture and function and recognizes the bodies ability to heal itself. Vaishally has recently registered with the Ontario Association of Osteopaths and is keen on serving the community of Waterloo, where she currently resides.
She is a driven, passionate and a caring individual. Having recently graduated she is up to date with the practice of osteopathic manipulative therapy and continues to educate herself with ground breaking therapy. With her extensive knowledge in the field of osteopathy, she is eager to “help your body help you.”
