Marinated Arame or Hijiki

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup dry arame or hijiki
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1/8 batch sesame sauce (refer below)

Place arame or hijiki in a medium-sized bowl.  Add room temperature water to cover by about 3 inches.  Soak for 15 minutes or until expanded and soft.  Drain.  Add sesame sauce and marinate for at least 1 hour.
