Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients:

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • cinnamon
  • honey
  • butter or unrefined oil
  • salt and pepper
  • onion powder

Squash:
Preheat oven to 400F.  Cut squash in half and scoop out he seeds, set aside.  Lightly oil the cut surface of the quash and place face down in the baking pan.  Bake for approximately 1 hour or until you can pierce the skin with a fork.  When you can handle the squash, remove the inside strands with a fork and place in a bowl.  Mix with butter, cinnamon and honey to taste.  (Can also make a with a tomato garlic sauce.)

Seeds:
Lower temperature of oven to 300F.  Rinse seeds and remove any excess squash.  Place seeds on baking pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper and onion powder.  Bake until golden, approximately 30 minutes.
